This is the centerpiece of my LDM (Little Diabetes Museum). It is a bottle produced by Eli Lilly in 1923 or 1924. Insulin was discovered by Banting et al in 1922. Eli Lilly was the first company to mass produce insulin. I purchased this bottle from Ebay in November 2012.
I have the same bottle - with the original box and instruction sheet. How did you date this bottle to 1923/4? I've send messages to Eli Lilly to try and date my bottle, but no responses. My serial number starts with H3. Thanks!
